Bree
Bree is a 13 year old Kentucky Mountain Horse gelding that came to GFF as a four year old. His color is bay and he was born in West Virginia at Hidden Springs Rocky Farm. He enjoys being a therapy horse for both kids and adults. He stands at 14.2 hands, but has the personality of a 16 hand draft horse warranting the nickname "Joker". Sometimes you will catch Bree carrying around the orange cones and putting them in buckets tp impress his lady friends.
Annabelle
Annabelle is a farm favorite being the shortest, spunkiest of the barn. She is a six year old black and white pinto pony mare that was born locally. She has been with GFF for four years and is used for group therapy and intermediate lessons. She stands 13.3 hands tall. The pony has never ending energy however, she is very affectionate during therapy sessions. Her best friends are Frosty and Hazel.
Frosty
Frosty is an eight year old American Quarter Horse mare that traveled from Minnesota when she was 9 months old to live at GFF. Her color is called smokey black and her only marking is the white heart on her forehead. Frosty loves to chase around the other horses to show them that she is the boss, however, she is very sweet and attentive to her human friends. Frosty stands 15 hands tall.
Hazel
Hazel is the youngest at GFF at age three years old. She is an American Quarter Horse mare that is dun in color. Hazel should stand 16 hands once full grown. She was born in Pennsylvania and moved to GFF at four months of age. Hazel excels at both individual and group therapy on the ground sessions due to her extremely calm nature. Hazel enjoys being with her pony Annnabelle in the pasture.
Dazzle
Dazzle is a 28 year old American Paint mare that is a seal brown color. Dazzle has been at GFF since 2014 before that coming from Cornpopper Farm in Concord, Ohio. Being the senior of the barn, she offers a calm sense of serenity when she works with individuals with complex trauma. Dazzle is still used for light riding and beginner lessons. She stands 15 hands tall and her best friend is Gracie.
Gracie
Gracie is a 16 year old Grade Rocky Mountain horse that was born locally. She is brown in color and stands 14.3 hands tall. She is slow and steady and has camped at many of the state parks in Ohio. Her current job is helping both kids and adults with emotional regulation and confidence building. Gracie's best friend is Dazzle.
